Complex present “The 50 Best NBA Slam Dunks” in the history

A dunk is worth only two points. A dunk in somebody’s face? Also two points, but that’s just because NBA puppeteers haven’t figured out how to award points based on how badly a player was emasculated. Check out Complex’s list of the 50 Best NBA Slam Dunks, a collection of humiliating, in-your-face jams that should be worth at least an additional two points—one for each testicle that was crushed.

The more things change, the more things stay the same. Read the recent post on the World’s Got Problems blog regarding how the Obama administration is maintaining continuity with its disgraced predecessor. And pre-releasing on this upcoming Black Friday is the t-shirt design, “Hope is Fading Fast”. This is actually the first item releasing without the Freshjive brand name on it. Available at Reserve on Fairfax in Los Angeles, and various boutiques worldwide.

Once a prospective employee passed the notoriously difficult interview at Google (which included brain twisters such as “How much would you charge to wash all the windows in Seattle?”) it is safely assumed that one would be welcomed passed the guarded Google gates and into the paradise of Google-dom. As for what is behind the gates of “Open sesame Google”, SwipeLife took a much envied tour at the Google office and see where creativity is incubated and born. What would the space where a viable creative idea is implemented immediately look like? Perhaps an aquarium, a blue robot brain like cocoon? An mirrored space with yoga balls, slides and poles? Take a look at Google’s office and finally understand why it is one of the top companies to work for despite the gloomy outlook for private corporations. Seriously, any office with pinball machines, blow-up bubble chairs and faux taxi cabs? Follow the jump for detailed pictuers!

As previously reported, design collective Vinti Andrews has some sort of destructive yet constructive thing going on. Think tearing down Jordans and Air Max kicks to rebuild them into stuffed Nike Air Dogs. This time around, the collective focused their energy into creating something wearable yet are just as intriguing to look at by collaborating with Hong Kong’s select shop, KNIQ. The duo took apart Nike Windrunners and remade them into new items. Voila, backpacks patched from jackets and well, new jackets patched from a lot of different jackets. All hand made, all mixed, matched in deliberation to amazing combination and quality, the jackets and backpacks are available at KNIQ.

For sneaker fiends, it’s hard to believe that there is anything closer than kicks as a man’s best friend. This season, London’s design collective, Vinti Andrews took one of the most popular silhouettes, Air Max from Nike, took it apart and recreated it in the form of man’s most loyal friend. Unlike your usual collaborations, the Air Max Dog is mixed and patched from various Air Maxes in multiple colorways. Some die-hard fans might gasp at the desecration, but this is not the first time Vinti Andrews laid hands on some coveted Nike kicks. Previously, there had been the Jordan V Dog and the Nike Pitbull. Other than some masterful color coordination, check out the spiked collar on the Air Max puppy. Honestly, the best kicks plus the most loyal creature without the troubles of toilet training? Man’s best friend indeed. Via: Vinti Andrews and The Contemporary Fix. Many pics more follow after the jump

The JS Wings sneakers from Jeremy Scott and adidas Original’s collaboration has been widely received and loved for its bold and imaginative design. This season, it’s a white Christmas for the collaboration partners as they joined hands with Swarvoski for the latter’s Crystallized project. The Crystallized project celebrates the holiday season with colette with a collaborative White Crystal Christmas, which enlisted the help of various labels to create something new, shiny and happily festive with Swarovski crystals. As for Jeremy Scott’s part, he dressed the now iconic JS Wings in white in a generous dose of all-over crystals. The sneakers are not for the faint of heart and are more so collector’s items than something to kick around the Lower East Side with. For those who do find these intriguing and desirable, they are available by request only exclusively via colette. Follow the jump for some more pics.
