Tanya Morgan presents Laura’s Tape, the latest drop from group member Donwill in association with 2dopeboyz, FLuD Watches, IM Culture and Rocksmith Tokyo. The mixtape features tracks off Donwill’s debut LP Don Cusack in High Fidelity. Dropping just in time for Valentine’s Day and mixed by DJ KingMost, Laura’s Tape is laden with hip-hop and R&B sounds alike.

Lasonic’s iPod Boombox

The iPod has certainly become the primary option for listening to music. But some of us miss the good ol’ days when we used to pop in a cassette and haul a boombox down the block while listening to “Fight The Power.” For those of you that are too young, just watch Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing” and check out the legendary Radio Raheem. Lasonic was one of the first to blend the digital advancements of the iPod with the nostalgia of the boombox with their i931 model. Originally released back in 2008, the Ghetto Blaster may have flew under the radar but its unique style is something worth noting. It has an iPod dock, AM/FM radio, alarm, supports SD and USB flash, EQ adjuster, and uses AC power or batteries. The company also announced that they will be releasing a new model this year that is compatible with the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can cop the older model now at Lasonic’s online store for $129. Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 by Adam Kotob

The Nike Bespoke Air Force 1 has been nudged by Marcus Troy, Dan Hwang and DJ Clark Kent. Now they are being treated to a less time with none other than Adam Kotob.

These dark brown crocodile heeled AF1 use brown as base color and is available at 21 Mercer.  Nike Swosh and heel stripe are made of a soft orange leather, the tan midpanel is made of suede. The touch is a brown denim heel tab that sports the usual Nike branding.  For more pics follow the jump.

Estevan Oriol X Mister Cartoon – Snoop Dogg “Malice In Wonderland” Album Cover Artwork | Behind The Scenes Video

Photographer/Director Estevan Oriol and Mister Cartoon go way back. Not just partners on The Joker Brand clothing, the duo worked through SA Studios and successfully pushed their art into the market place, working with clients such as Nike, Toyota, Harley Davidson and Rockstar Games. This time around, Oriol and Mister Cartoon are back to create the album art for Snoop Dogg’s upcoming album, Malice In Wonderland, due to drop on Dec 8. It is interesting to see the completed work, but it is even more intriguing to see how the artists work and collaborate. Check out the behind the scenes video for making the album packaging and get psyched– not just about Snoop’s upcoming tracks, but also to appreciate the artwork that went into it.
